Large hotel converts pebble beach to sand ...by pumping the sand up from the sea, the eco system is completely destroyed by the silt that settles on the existing sea life, also the sea bed where the sand is taken from is also destroyed. Here in Samos nothing is being done to preserve the sea life, fish are being fished out by fishing vacums that suck up everything, the discarded sea life is then dumped back into the sea. Sea turtles and dolphins are killed because they tear fishermen's nets. Cess pools are emptied into the sea during winter months. The once white pebbles are covered with a slimy sludge. SOS any answer to these problems???
